This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on namekiln.com. We take a minimal approach: we use only what is strictly necessary to operate the website.
1. Why there is no cookie banner
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, Article 5(3)) and GDPR, prior consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — particularly tracking, advertising, and profiling cookies. We do not use any of those. The only cookies we set are technically necessary for the website to function. Because we do not collect personal data through tracking, no consent banner is legally required.
This is a deliberate choice. We believe a clean, banner-free experience is more honest than a banner that exists only to collect consent for things we are not doing.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies only. The cookies below may be set by WordPress or Elementor when you interact with the site (for example, when you submit the contact form). They are temporary, do not contain marketing identifiers, and are required for the site to function correctly.

Analytics: Matomo (cookieless mode). We use a self-hosted Matomo Analytics instance to understand site usage. Matomo is configured in cookieless mode: no cookies are set for analytics. We use server-side IP anonymisation and respect the Do Not Track browser signal.
3. Third-party cookies
None. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, or any other third-party tracker. We do not embed third-party widgets that set cookies in your browser. All resources on this site are served from our own infrastructure.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, doing so should not affect your ability to read content on this site, though it may affect form submissions.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or technologies, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date will reflect the change.
