Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what limited personal data Biovit Group Ltd. (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit namekiln.com, how we use it, and what your rights are. We are committed to data minimisation: we collect only what is necessary to provide a working website and respond to direct inquiries.

1. Data controller

Biovit Group Ltd. (Biovit Group Kereskedelmi es Szolgaltato Kft.)
Registered office: 1162 Budapest, Janos utca 18., Hungary
Company registration number: 01-09-875491
EU VAT number: HU13728823
Contact: hello@namekiln.com

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as our processing activities do not meet the criteria under GDPR Article 37. For any data protection matter, write to the contact email above.

2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form on this website, we collect: your name, your email address, and the message you send.

  • Purpose: to respond to your inquiry.
  • Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract — or, where no contractual relationship is contemplated, Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in handling business communications addressed to us.
  • Provision is voluntary. You are not obliged to provide this data. If you do not, we simply will not be able to reply.

Anonymised analytics. We use a self-hosted Matomo Analytics instance to understand how visitors use the site. Matomo is configured in privacy-first mode: IP addresses are anonymised at collection (last two octets removed), no tracking cookies are set, no cross-session profiling is performed, and the Do Not Track browser signal is respected.

  • Purpose: aggregate audience measurement and content improvement.
  • Legal basis: not applicable — because of the anonymisation measures, the resulting data is not personal data under GDPR Recital 26, and is processed outside the scope of the Regulation.

Server logs. Like any web server, our infrastructure produces short-term technical logs (timestamp, requested URL, user agent, truncated IP) for security and debugging. Logs are rotated and discarded after 14 days. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in operating a secure service.

What we do not collect. No marketing pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.), no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting, no advertising cookies, and no data shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Recipients and processors

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. The following processors handle data strictly on our instructions, under written processor agreements (GDPR Article 28):

  • Rackhost Zrt. (Hungary) — email hosting for the hello@namekiln.com mailbox. Data location: Hungary, EU. Privacy policy
  • Hostinger International Ltd. (Lithuania) — VPS hosting for the website and analytics. Server location: Frankfurt, Germany. Privacy policy

Beyond these, no recipient categories apply. Authorities may receive data only where we are legally compelled to disclose it.

4. Where your data is stored

All data is stored on our own infrastructure within the European Union. Email is hosted by Rackhost (Hungary). The website and analytics run on a VPS hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (provider: Hostinger International Ltd., Lithuania). All processing takes place within the EU; we do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.

5. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation, plus a reasonable retention period for record-keeping — typically 12 months from the last interaction. Server logs are kept for up to 14 days. Data may be kept longer where retention is required by law (e.g., accounting records) or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16)
  • Erasure — the “right to be forgotten” (Article 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Article 18)
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Article 20)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu) or the supervisory authority of your EU member state

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@namekiln.com. We will respond within 30 days, free of charge, unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

7. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not engage in profiling within the meaning of GDPR Article 22.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction — including TLS for all connections, encrypted backups, access control, and regular security updates. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by GDPR.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the change. Material changes will be announced where reasonable.
